Introducing Marina Carmen Lopez-Salazar...our Song of the Sea.

Our little miracle, Marina Carmen Lopez-Salazar, was born at home on Sunday April 5, 2009 (her actual due date) at 1:45pm. She weighed 8 pounds, 7.5 ounces at birth and measured 21 inches long. She had a long journey out of the womb, but is healthy and happy to be at home with mom and dad.

Nuestro pequeño milagro, Marina Carmen López-Salazar nació en la casa el 5 de abril a la 1:45 de la tarde. Pesó 3.8 kilos y midió 53.3 cm. Fue un largo viaje , pero ya llegó y está sanita y feliz junto a nosotros.

After 2 days of early labor/contractions and 13 hours of active/intense labor, Leila couldn't take her eyes off Marina the day after the birth.
